ZipLink
For App Developers

One link. iOS, Android, anywhere.

Instead of posting two separate App Store and Google Play links, create a single short link and point it wherever you want — then track which platform your users are coming from.

Why ZipLink works for for app developers

One link in all your marketing materials

Print, social, email, ads — use ziplink.app/download-myapp everywhere. When you update the destination (e.g. from a landing page to the actual App Store), update it in one place.

Track installs by referral source

See which ad campaign, social post, or press mention drives the most app download clicks. Use this to justify (or cut) your marketing spend.

Device-level analytics

ZipLink tells you whether clicks come from iOS or Android devices. Combine this with your App Store Connect or Play Console data for full-funnel visibility.

Custom launch campaign aliases

Use /launch, /beta, or /download for clean, memorable links you can say out loud in podcasts, demo videos, or product launch announcements.

Frequently asked questions

Can ZipLink automatically detect the OS and redirect accordingly?

Not yet — ZipLink currently redirects everyone to the same destination URL. For now, point the link to your app's landing page which handles the OS detection, or to the primary platform you support.

Can I use ZipLink links in Google Ads or Facebook Ads?

Yes, with a caveat: some ad platforms require that you use destination URLs from your own domain for tracking. Check your ad platform's link shortener policy.

How long are ZipLink links valid?

By default, links never expire. You can optionally set an expiry date when creating a link — useful for limited-time beta access or launch-week promotions.
